CLUB HOLDS successful Yough River tire removal with help from Yough Canoe Outfitters, BVA High School Outdoors Club, YRT Maintenance crew volunteers, and Boy Scouts. Hundreds of tires were removed from the river.
The Club donates to local food banks in need of assistance. Receiving equal donations were the Belle Vernon Area Food Bank, the Perryopolis Food Bank, and the Washington Township-Fayette City Food Bank.

Club members maintain the grounds surrounding the shelter along the Youghiogheny River Trail at Smithton Beach.
A major project of past-president Larry Golashewski was for the club to supply 6 benches for the new Smithton Pollinator & Wildlife Habitat. The habitat will aid the Great Migration of Monarch butterflies north from Mexico and their return to Mexico.
Club members, greeted by member and Smithton Council President Fred Foster, far left, visited the habitat to tour the habitat and view one to the benches the club donated.
